REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2010 WILL BEGIN IN LATE NOVEMBER
We are excited about making you part of the UTC family. To be a part of UTC's winning team, there are many things you'll need to learn. We've prepared special orientation sessions for you and your parents to help set the stage for a successful college career. We want to make UTC Orientation an experience for your whole family. To that end, we strongly encourage your parents or other family members to attend our parent orientation program. This program is offered concurrently with the student program.
During Orientation, the spotlight shines on UTC's strong academic programs. When you attend Orientation, you'll be led by an Orientation Leader (OL) in a small-group setting. Your OL will be able to answer your questions about getting involved on campus, as well as explain the catalog, UTC advisement procedures, and make other recommendations. Finally, you'll meet with a faculty academic advisor and register for fall classes.
If the Orientation session is not enough, we also provide an additional three-day program called MocsCamp! MocsCamp has something for every new UTC student. The camp focuses on “getting involved” in the UTC community and the Chattanooga area. So get ready to have a great time and join a great University community! GO MOCS!!
Special Needs: Students with disabilities requiring special accommodations during the Orientation program should contact the Office for Students with Disabilities at (423) 425-4006(V/TTY) at least a week prior to their assigned session. Orientation staff will work closely with OSD in arranging the appropriate accommodations to assist you during your UTC Orientation experience.
