Electronic Submission

 

The IRB is now requiring electronic submission of all forms. 

Please follow these directions when submitting your application:

  • Prepare the application as normal by downloading the forms.
  • Prepare all application forms and save them in ONE file which must be either a Word document or a PDF file.  No other forms will be accepted.  Multiple attachments will not be accepted.  All attachments (such as surveys and supporting materials) will have to be included in the application file.  In some cases, this may require scanning documents to include in the application.
  • Forward your application as an email attachment to instrb@utc.edu.  If this is a student project, you must first forward it to your faculty advisor.
  • The faculty advisor should forward the application to instrb@utc.edu with the following message: I approve the attached IRB submitted by:  _____________ (name of applicant). 

All correspondence by the IRB will be conducted through email. Exceptions may be made to accommodate special circumstances. If you have any questions or comments, please send an email to instrb@utc.edu.
