Training History FAQ's
To receive credit for classes, complete the Request for Additional Credit and submit to the UTC Office of Human Resources for entering into the IRIS data base.
1. How do I check my training history in IRIS?
Within your department, the departmental specialist, who should have access to IRIS, may retrieve your training history.
2. If I am the departmental specialist, how do I check the training history for a single employee within my department?
There is a transaction in IRIS (Human Resources > Training & Event Management > Information Systems > Reports > Attendances > S_PH9_46000431 - Attendee's Training History) you can execute to access the training history for an individual employee in your department at his or her request. Once you open the transaction, you can find detailed instructions on how to use this transaction by clicking on 'Help' from the top-bar menu and selecting 'IRIS Help' from the drop-down menu. In a separate window, you should select the first detailed list of instructions titled, Attendee's Training History.
3. If I am the departmental specialist, how do I generate a departmental report to check the training history for all employees at one time within my department?
Using the same path noted in Question 2 to access the transaction, you can find detailed instructions on how to generate this report by clicking on 'Help' from the top-bar menu and selecting 'IRIS Help' from the drop-down mneu. In a separate window, you should select the second detailed list of instructions titled, Attendee's Training History for Multiple Employees.
4. What is my departmental specialist is not available to retrieve my training history?
If you have IRIS access, use the transaction PA20 - Display HR Master Data. Enter your personnel number, click Education/Tenure tab > Qualifications > Individual Development. You may also email Melanie Sadler to request your training history.
