Changes to the Preferred Drug List ![]()
The preferred drug list for April 2013 has been updated and you can view a copy of the PDL at http://tn.gov/finance/ins/pdf/caremark_pdl.pdf.
There is a 90-day grace period before these changes are effective (July 1, 2013). In the coming weeks, members impacted by these changes will receive a customized letter showing their current medication as well as the name of a similar formulary drug that they can talk to their doctor about to see if it is right for them. After June 30, the medications below will be considered non-preferred medications (Tier 3) subject to the plan’s highest co-pay.
