Computer Loan
Tenured faculty or faculty in a tenure track position having completed one year of service and non-tenure track faculty and other employees in an approved regular position having completed two years of service with the university will be eligible for an interest-free computer loan. A loan to an individual cannot exceed $1,500 or 90% of the total purchase price. The minimum amount of a single loan to an individual is $500. The maximum period for repayment of loan cannot exceed 18 months. The balance of computer loan must be paid upon termination or resignation of UTC employment.

Discounts using your MOCs Card
Regular employees may receive a discount at the UTC bookstore (excluding textbooks), dining services, athletic and Fine Arts Center events, CARTA bus service. A photo ID and/or Mocs Card may be required to receive some discounts.
Tennessee Dental Plan
Regular employees are automatically enrolled in the Tennessee Dental Plan at no cost to the employee. The Tennessee Dental Plan is not dental insurance, but a program providing discounts for Dental, Vision, Hearing, Massage Therapy and Prescription Drugs. The Tennessee Dental Plan website lists providers and information for each segment of the program. Contact the Office of Human Resources for a membership card.
Tennessee State Parks
The State of TN Department of Environment & Conservation offers a discount at state parks for state employees by presenting your MOCs card. Visit http://tn.gov/environment/parks/ or call 888-867-2757.
