Consulting Services
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a consultation service for employees and their eligible dependents, regardless of whether they participate in the Group Insurance Program, who may be experiencing personal or work place problems. We encourage you to explore the state EAP website or Magellan Behavioral Health, the EAP provider. EAP services are provided at no cost and all services are strictly confidential and can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at
1-855-437-3486. Individuals receive up to 5 (five) free counseling sessions per episode at no cost to the participant; however, sessions must be pre-authorized by calling Magellan Behavioral Health at
1-855-437-3486.
The EAP handles a wide range of problems related to:
- depression and anxiety
- stress
- family or parenting issues
- workplace concerns
- work/life balance
- marital or relationship issues
- financial issues
- substance abuse
- legal issues
- adjusting to change
- child and elder care
Library and Resources
The Magellan Health Library and Resources provides information about mental health, physical fitness, child care, elder care, investment tools, fitness calculators, and self-assessments to help you learn more about the issues that are important to you and your family and ways in which you can improve your well-being.
