National Science Foundation (11/09/09)
- Discovery Research K-12 : Enables significant advances in preK-12 student and teacher learning of the STEM disciplines through the development, implementation, & study of resources, models, & technologies for use by students, teachers, & policymakers. Funded activities begin with a research question about effective preK-12 STEM learning and teaching; develop, adapt, or study innovative resources, models, or technologies; and demonstrate if, how, for whom, and why their implementation affects learning

Tennessee Council for Developmental Disabilities (11/09/09)
- Council Innovative Grant Program : The Council is seeking regional agency affiliates to select coordinators, who will then provide oversight for two to five book clubs. Grantees will be responsible for hiring a part-time Coordinator; hosting a training workshop conducted by staff from the Nisonger Center; recruiting and maintaining a pool of trained volunteer facilitators; and overseeing overall program development, implementation and maintenance of book clubs.
