Tennessee Student Assistance Award (TSAA) Grant
Tennessee's grant program is awarded to eligible Tennessee residents whose Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is 2,100 or less. Funds are limited and awarded on a first come first served basis.
This Grant is available Fall and Spring semesters only.
You will receive an award notification from the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) if you qualify for this grant. If you have completed the FAFSA but UTC is not listed first, you must change your school listing on your FAFSA to show UTC as your first school. You can make this change by 1) logging into TSAC’s Student Financial Aid Portal at http://www.tn.gov/CollegePays/stud_par/stu_par.htm, or 2) complete the TSAC Change of Institution Form and return it to TSAC. Please allow 2 weeks for TSAC to process. In 3 to 5 days check your account through TSAC’s Student Financial Aid Portal to verify your school change.
