Scholarship programs at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga are made possible through funds provided by the University, outside foundations, estates, private businesses, civic groups, individuals, and alumni.

The UTC Chancellor's and Provost's scholarship deadline for first-time freshmen is February 1. Students applying for these scholarships MUST submit their UTC admission application, $30 application fee, official high school transcript, and ACT or SAT scores by the February 1 deadline. The information on file in the Admissions Office on February 1 will be used to determine eligibility for these scholarships.

The Chattanooga YES! deadline is April 1. Students applying for this scholarship must complete their financial aid file (including submit the FAFSA), and submit their UTC admission application, $30 application fee, official high school transcript, and ACT or SAT scores by the April 1 deadline. The information on file in the Admissions Office on April 1 will be used to determine eligibility for these scholarships.

High schools using a weighted grading scale must have the weighted GPA printed on the transcript in order for the GPA to be honored by the Admissions office. Weighted GPAs are NOT used to determine eligibility for Tennessee Lottery scholarships.
