Alternative Loans
In some cases, a student may need educational funding beyond what they have received in federal and state aid. In other situations, the student may not be eligible for federal or state aid at all. In these instances, an alternative loan may be necessary. Please note that some loans require that a student be enrolled at least half-time, and/or be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Below is a list of alternative loans with which our office is familiar, and we believe that students will receive exceptional customer service by selecting a loan from this list. All of the loans listed are processed electronically with UTC, and funds are disbursed by Electronic Funds Transmission (EFT). Please note that UTC encourages students to make an informed decision concerning their lender, and that UTC will process loans with any lender that the student selects. UTC receives no financial benefits from any lender.
