**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Due to Federal Legislation, all Federal student loans, starting with Fall 2010 semester, will be borrowed through the *Federal Direct Loan program. This change in legislation requires students who previously borrowed student loans through a private lender and New Borrowers to complete a new *Direct Loan Master Promissory Note and complete *Direct Loan Entrance Counseling. See our Q&A for answers to your questions about the transition to this new loan program.
*It is also important to note that due to the increase in volume, the Federal Direct Loan program website maybe have a slow response time. Please be patient and consider completing your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note and Direct Loan Entrance Counseling during non-peak hours.
