re: Faculty Handbook Committee Report, 1998-1999

The Faculty Handbook committee met several times to discuss and reword the implementation plan for the performance review policy. From the work done by the Performance Review and Faculty Handbook committees, several document drafts were sent to faculty, and discussed in Faculty Council and university faculty meetings. This work is still in progress.

The Faculty Handbook committee recommended (information item) deletion from the handbook of the Continuing Education committee as a standing committee of Faculty Council. Faculty Council voted to abolish this committee in 1994.

The Faculty Handbook committee recommended (information item) inclusion in the handbook of the Classroom Technology committee. It was voted in as a standing committee of Faculty Council at the last meeting of 1995. A paragraph description was requested from the Classroom Technology Committee.
