| GUIDELINES
The layout for your party will be determined during your catering consultation(s). This means that no furniture, accessories, floral arrangements, etc. are to be moved by anyone except Faculty Club Staff. On the day of your event, you may have access to the building four hours beforehand for decorating, etc. Additional time will constitute an attendant fee. When planing music for your party, please consider the number of guests you are expecting and the available space. (Bands or DJ's with large or extensive equipment will not fit well inside, neither physically nor acoustically, and will greatly reduce space for guests). Also, it is a further help if we know a general time to expect your band to set up before your party and if there are any special needs that we should be aware of. Your band or DJ must be informed that their equipment is to be removed from the building immediately following your event. We are happy to serve any alcoholic beverages you have provided for your party at a nominal fee. We do, however, strongly encourage you to use prudence when planning for the amount. We will be happy to advise you, based on past parties. While we want everyone to have a good time, we are not interested in hosting rowdy 'beer bust' type parties. If that is the type of celebration you have in mind, we suggest you select a less formal setting with an atmosphere better suited those needs. We Reserve The Right To Refuse Alcohol To Anyone Who Has Obviously Had Too Much To Drink. We also reserve the right to stop the Band/DJ and the party if behavior gets out of hand; i/e/ standing in the chairs/tables, etc. (you should advise you DJ/band of this beforehand) Our policy dictates that "the event is over when the host and/or hostess is no longer on site!" The Faculty Club staff cannot be expected to assume such hosting duties. In addition, because the Patton House is part of a neighborhood, all events are expected to end by 11:00 PM. |
