Student Recreation Center
Status: Construction
Current Task: Finishing up exterior masonry and glazing, working 7 days a week to catch up. Plans call for HVAC unit start-up in late February to begin drying out the building.
Student Recreation Center Pool Addition
Status: Design
Current Task: Construction documents are complete with UT wrapping up mechanical review. Should be in State Fire Marshal’s office by end of February, bid in March.
New Library Building
Status: Design
Current Task: Preliminary schematic design presented Feb. 2nd, floor plans to be presented in mid February.
Athletic Strength & Conditioning Center (Lawson Center)
Status: Construction
Current Task: Building is substantially complete, with certificate of occupancy awarded 11/20. Punch list being worked off.
Engel Intramural Development
Status: Construction
Current Task: Two fields are substantially complete. Third field will be completed as a local project. Field lighting is being installed as weather permits.
Campus Elevator Upgrades
Status: Construction
Current Task: Work is substantially complete with punch list being worked off.
Metropolitan Building Renovation
Status: Construction
Current Task: Renovation underway with demolition 50% complete. Asbestos abatement complete with exception of gypboard removal done through the general contract
Grote Hall Renovation
Status: Construction
Current Task: Asbestos abatement is complete. Drawings in State Fire Marshal’s office for review, UT completing final review. Project to be bid ASAP.
Electrical Distribution Upgrade, Phase II
Status: Construction
Current Task: Project underway most underground work done over Christmas break. Work in the Central Energy Plant and various buildings will take place through October.
UC Student Services
Status: Design
Current Task: Construction estimated at $830,000. Drawings to be sent to Fire Marshal this month, bid in March.
Central Plant Boiler Replacement, Phase II
Status: Design
Current Task: Kick-off meeting with MEP Engineering held 12/4. Schematic design underway.
