Scholarships
Scholarships at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga are important to continuing a tradition of excellence in education. During the 2007-2008 academic year, the University awarded $2,674,319 in financial assistance from privately supported scholarships. In a current student body of 9,807 undergraduate and graduate students, 75% of UTC students receive some sort of financial aid. Scholarships at UTC were awarded this year to 1,392 students on the basis of financial need and/or academic ability.

Working as partners with alumni, parents, friends and benefactors, our mission is to “serve as a national model of an engaged metropolitan university whose faculty, staff, and students, in collaboration with external partners, employ the intellectual resources of the liberal arts and professional programs to enrich the lives of those we serve.”
