The UTC Police Department is often accountable for safety and protection during special events on campus. Our Agency is responsible for coordinating police and security presence at athletic events, concerts along with other special events and operations on campus. UTC Police also provide traffic control, interior patrol and crowd control for each of these events. Due to the size of the majority of the special events, the UTC Police Department often employs individuals for event security.
