Police Officers
We are always looking for potential candidates for a position in our department. We are a progressive police department, with all of our P.O.S.T. certified Police Officers being sworn State Law Enforcement Officers. These certified Officers carry a variety of implements to assist in effectively controlling a situation and affect an arrest if necessary. These individuals have all the powers of a Police Officer as mandated by Tennessee Code Annotated 49-7-118. We are a community service oriented department and focus on the needs of our community. Student Workers
The police department hires student workers and part-time term employees to assist in our campus safety mission in addition to fulfilling requirements for special events and operations. If interested in a position contact the Police Department at (423) 425-4357.
