Classes Descriptions:
Step Aerobics: This is a class designed for beginners or intermediate fitness
levels to increase your cadiovascular fitness with choreographed step circuits.
Boot Camp: This is a high energy class that combines strength and cardio
training designed to add variety to your workouts. Learn to use bands, Bosu balls
and even kettlebells. Beginners welcome.
Hip Hop Dance: Come burn some calories while having a blast in this
50-minute dance class. Whether you've had past dance experience or you are
just beggining, this class is perfect to add variety to your workout routine.
Yoga: THis class combines mental, physical and breathing techniques that are
associated with Yoga which will help you build strenth, improve flexibility, and
reduce stress. Appropriate for all fitness levels.
Ab Attack: This 45 minute class focuses on increasing endurance and strength
in your abdominal and core areas. Whether you are a beginner or just looking to
add some variety to your workout, this class is perfect for toughening up your
mid section.
Kayak Lessons - These classes are a great way to get experience in kayaking.
This one hour class will give you an introduction to kayaking. You will learn the basics
of Kayaking; stoke concepts, equipment, self rescue and rolling. The classes are
taught by UTC Outdoor's finest staff. Also by attending these classes you will able to rent
the equipment through our outdoor center in the ARC.
