Canoe into the sunset and watch as 1000's of bats flood out of the BatCave.

Sample intinerary:  Leave UTC 7pm, 30 min drive, canoe, sunset at 8:45, stop at sonic, be home 11pm

Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking

This trip will test your skills. Class II/II river.

** must have attended kayak lessons/roll practice and prior kayak trip experience with UTC Outdoors.

Sample intinerary:  Leave UTC at 10am, 1 hour drive, stop for lunch, boat, stop for dinner, be back 6pm.

Beginner Whitewater Kayaking

Learn the basics of stokes, river hazards, and how to maxium fun on the river.   Class I/II river.

Whitewater Rafting

Sept 6

Paddle with Pros on this Class III - IV river. The Ocoee River is site of the 1996 Olympics.

Cost: $30 per person. Sign up in the Campus Recreation offices. Transportation is provided for the first ten people to sign up.

Whitewater Weekend - Whitewater Kayaking** and Extreme Whitewater Tubing

Sept 12-13

Your choice between the adventurous whitewater kayaking or extreme whitewater tubing and campout with us on Tennessee's scenic rivers.

** must have attended kayak lessons/roll practice if you want to kayak.

Canoeing - TN River Rescue

October 4

TN River Rescue - Volunteer to help clean the Chattanooga's Blueway.  Come prepared to pick litter and trash. Prizes for the most unique trash.

FALL BREAK - Surf lessons in Florida

Campout near the beach, learn to surf, and relax for fall break.  Jacksonville, FL here we come!
