              Have you been canoeing since you were younger at summer camp?  Here’s your chance to canoe to Maclellan Island on the riverfront of downtown Chattanooga.  Once you’ve landed on the island you will have a chance to hike around this wildlife preserve, managed by the Audubon Society.

              The 43.7 foot indoor climbing Wall in the Aquatic and Recreation Center is the tallest indoor wall in Chattanooga. This rock climbing towere and 13 foot freestanding boulder will challenge for both beginner and experienced Rock Climbers.

Shopping

              Come discover how close you are to area shopping malls.  Just downtown Chattanooga, moments away from campus you can be shopping.  By taking a ride to Hamilton place and Northgate malls you can find shopping opportunities and restaurants, Chattanooga’s best.

Hiking Trip

              On top of Lookout Mountain is a state park called Cloudland Canyon.  Cloudland Canyon has something for everyone biking, camping, frisbee golf, swimming and tennis.  There are two gorgeous waterfalls at the beginning of the canyon, in which, we will hike to.   These waterfalls are easy to moderate hiking trails.

You're getting ready to climb into an authentic World War II amphibious vehicle, where you're going to drive around historic downtown Chattanooga and hear some pretty neat stuff about our area. Then you're going to splash into the Tennessee River! As you ride up the river, you will get a unique view of downtown Chattanooga.
