Greetings,
Whether you are surfing or in search of specific information, I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the UTC College of Arts and Sciences. We hope that the site will provide at least a glimpse of the people, activities, and programs that make up the College. We include more than 240 full-time faculty, organized into seventeen academic departments, all of which offer bachelor's degrees. Six of these departments also offer master's programs. Affiliated with the College are two major outreach units−a music conservatory and a center that supports integrative arts education in K-12 schools. In the fall of 2007 we added to the College a Department of Military Science with an Army ROTC program. For the fall of 2008 we begin a major in Women's Studies.
