Oral Histories
The University Archives of UTC is interested in compiling oral histories from university alumni about their experience at the University of Chattanooga or UTC.
Plans are being made for 30 minute taped interviews to be conducted in Lupton Library during Homecoming Week. These interviews will be transcribed and available as part of the University Archives, which includes documents and other items concerning the university’s history going back to its first year in 1886.
If you are interested please contact the University Archivist, Steve Cox, at (423) 425-2186 to set up an interview appointment convenient to you. You will receive, in advance, a list of the questions so that you may be better prepared to answer them. We are particularly interested in accounts of former faculty, campus life, athletics, and important events while you were in school here.
