1. Why did you attend UTC? Because I knew a lot of people that
went there and I liked the size. It was small enough that I could get
involved on campus and large enough to get a true "college experience"
2. What is one of your favorite UTC memories? One of my favorite
UTC memories was bid day during Sorority Rush. The excitement and anticipation
of running out the doors of Patten Chapel and pledging my sorority of
choice--Chi Omega. I drove down McCallie Ave last year on bid day and
watched the girls in all their sorority colors outside Patten Chapel.
It brought back great memories!
3. What advice would you have for current UTC students? Get involved
on campus and in the community as much as you can. The contacts you make
now through organizations and the leadership skills you learn from being
involved is priceless when looking for a career after graduation.
4. Why are you involved with the UTC Office of Alumni Affairs? UTC
provided the foundation for my success. I want to give back, encourage
other Alums to get back involved and have an opportunity to be a positive
role model for UTC students.
5. What do you love about your alma mater? UTC is a real gem.
It's a beautiful campus in the heart of a city I love with a tradition
of academic excellence. I want to help spread that word.

1. Why did you attend UTC? Quality of business school,
overall atmosphere of campus.
2. What is one of your favorite UTC memories? Seeing Dick Vitale
in UTC Arena for the Mocs vs. Michigan (Fab Four) game.
3. What advice do you have for current UTC students? Embrace
the University while you are a student and stay involved as an alum.
4. Why are you involved with the UTC Office of Alumni Affairs?
Try to give back a little of what the University has given me.
5. In what way(s) has your degree(s) from UTC helped you?
I am proud to say that I am a graduate of the UTC School of Business in
both undergraduate and graduate studies. A top 100 business school
for 2007.
6. What do you love about your alma mater? As an undergraduate
working nearly full time hours I had a business school professor take
the time to nominate me for a scholarship that I was eventually chosen
to receive. The time he took to notice and understand how much
I could use a financial scholarship was a reflection of the atmosphere
I felt while attending U.T. Chattanooga. The administration and
faculty care about their students and the overall success and image of
the University.
