Celebrating our Engineering Program

March 13th, 2007

Recently, a group of UC and UTC Engineering and Computer Science majors convened to discuss the formation of a new Hall of Achievement and Graduation Recognition Campaign. The goal of both ideas is to honor and celebrate the achievements of our Engineering graduates, present and former.

The format of the Engineering Hall of Achievement Awards is carefully being formulated in way to set up a system to recognize and honor those graduates who have gone on to make a significant community impact.

  • How do you feel about UTC’s College of Engineering and Computer Science?
  • How can we best recognize and honor the graduates from this program?

Leave a response.

This is a great idea! I believe that Engineering will grow as a profession in Chattanooga and that more engineers and computer scientists will be needed to fuel the new Chattanooga economy for the next century. UTC has an excellent set of programs and they should be publicized and appreciated as much as possible. I’m looking forward to the events and activities that are coming up. — Tiffany Gibby
