How to get your advisement code

Before a student may enroll in courses for the semester, he or she must meet with the advisor. The advisor will help the student select courses that meet the student's needs and interests. The advisor can also help the student with other questions about academic matters.

At the end of the advisement session, the advisor will give the student an advisement code. The student must use this code to register for classes online. The advisement code changes each fall and spring semester. Either the fall or the spring advisement code will work for the summer semester registration.

To receive your advisement code you must meet with your academic advisor. If you do not know who your academic advisor is, please contact your major department. For a list of major departments, click here.

Advisement codes cannot be given out over the phone. You must contact your major department academic advisor.
