Majors and Programs
When you applied to UTC, you listed a major to pursue while you’re here. You can choose to pursue that major or you can follow a new path. We encourage you to explore as many departments and majors as you wish before choosing an AIQ to complete. For more information on the program and majors UTC offers, please visit the Majors and Programs page. If you are still undecided please fill out the Pre-Major/Undecided AIQ.
Academic Interest Questionnaire (AIQ)
To help us determine the appropriate courses, we want to know more about you – about your high school experiences and about your expectations and plans for your college experience at UTC. We will do our best to register you for classes based on your answers to the AIQ. The schedule created for you will provide a strong start for your academic journey and will put you on the right path to academic success. You will be given a copy of your Fall 2013 schedule at Orientation where you will have the opportunity to speak with an experienced academic advisor about your schedule.
By May 1st, please complete an AIQ for your chosen major listed on the next page. Your course schedule for the Fall will not be created without this essential information.
If you have any questions, review the AIQ frequently asked questions page.
