Advisement
Adult students, regardless of the number of hours completed, may come into the Adult Services Center for advisement. During advisement, the adviser will review the student's RAP sheet, check sheet, UTC transcript, etc., and assist the student in deciding which classes to take the following semester, help make plans for future semesters, and respond to questions or concerns the student may have. Following the advisement session, the adviser will give the student his or her advisement code so that the student will be able to enroll in classes online.
All students, regardless of age or number of hours completed toward a degree, must be advised in their major department if they have the following majors:
- Art
- Any student athlete
- Applied Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Child and Family Studies
- Communications
- Computer Science
- Education
- Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Health and Human Performance

Students in these majors should contact their major departments to set up advisement appointments.
Advisement for the Summer 2009 semester is currently on-going. Priority registration for the Fall 2009 semester begins April 6, 2009 and open registration begins April 20, 2009. Appointments for advisement are not necessary.
