Welcome Transfer Students!

Welcome to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga! Take up your new banner and carry it with pride!  It is our goal in the Undergraduate Admissions Office to make your transition as easy as possible.  Please take some time to browse this section of our website for information regarding Transfer Admission.

Who is considered a Transfer Student?

Applicants for admission as degree seeking students who have been registered at another college or university and transfer more than 12 hours of college level non-developmental coursework are classified as transfer students.  An applicant who transfers fewer than 12 hours of college level non-developmental coursework must meet the minimum requirements for new freshman.
