Who is considered a Transfer Student?
Applicants for admission as degree seeking students who have been registered at another college or university and transfer more than 12 hours of college level non-developmental coursework are classified as transfer students. An applicant who transfers fewer than 12 hours of college level non-developmental coursework must meet the minimum requirements for new freshman.
Transfer students applying for the fall semester must have all supporting credentials on file in the Admission Office by August 1. Transfer students applying for the spring semester must do so by December 1. Transfer students applying for any summer semester must apply 10 days before the start of each summer session.
