Current UHON Students
| UHON students are an integral part of life at UTC and an asset to the Chattanooga community as a whole. The UHON Council sponsors many activities for the UHON student body and for the wider UTC campus. Most UHON students are involved in many extracurricular activities, often taking a leadership role. In addition, UHON students organize and participate in many service projects with local non-profit organizations. UHON students are much in demand on campus as tutors, peer mentors, resident assistants in campus housing and student assistants in academic and administrative offices. Through the UHON Student Research Assistantship program, UHON students assist faculty with research and other academic and professional projects, such as preparation of textbook manuscripts, presentations at conferences and editing of professional journals. As you can see from the sample profiles below, our students demonstrate a high level of initiative, creativity and energy in their activities both inside and outside the classroom. Through the connections and opportunities of the UHON Program, they're able to make the most of their undergraduate years, academically and personally. |
