UHON Cultural Trip 2010
Germany
The 2010 UHON Cultural and Fine Arts Tour took as its theme a study of the art and culture of Germany. Twenty-five intrepid Honors students, along with assorted UHON faculty, staff and alumni toured various sites in Munich,Wolfsburg and Berlin. Below are some highlights of our intinerary: Munich and Schwangau (May 7-10)

Wolfsburg (May 11-12)
Group visits: Wolfsburg Castle, Volkswagen Autostadt and manufacturing facility, and the Phaeno Science Center

Berlin (May 13-16)
Group visits: Einstein Observatory in Potsdam; Berlin City tour including the Brandenburg Gate, the Room of Silence, the Berliner Dom, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews, and a boat tour on the Spree River; and Schloss Charlottenburg
Optional student led and faculty-led tours included: Jewish Berlin, Berlin Architecture East and West, History of Music in Berlin, Nazi Berlin, German Reunification, the History of Berlin Theatre, and Art Museums of Berlin
