Biography
Bill Brown is a native of western Tennessee, having grown up in Dyersburg. Brown received his B.A. from Bethel College and Master's Degrees from the Breadloaf School of English, Middlebury College, and the George Peabody College. From 1983-2003, he directed the writing program at Hume-Fogg Academic High School in Nashville. Brown currently resides in Robertson County with his wife and teaches as a part-time lecturer at Vanderbilt. He writes poetry.
