PRAXIS II REQUIREMENTS FOR TENNESSEE LICENSURE 2006-2007
For initial licensure, one of four Principles of Learning and Teaching tests is required. (The Early Childhood PLT 30521 is now accepted by Tennessee.)

*30522 Principles of Learning & Teaching K-6 155
*30523 Principles of Learning & Teaching 5-9 154
*30524 Principles of Learning & Teaching 7-12 159
Note: PreK-3 and PreK-4 must take #30521.
Elementary K-8 may take either #30521 or #30522 or #30523.
Middle Grades (5-8) must take #30523.
Special Ed Early Childhood PreK-1 should take #30522.
Secondary 7-12 must take #30524.
K-12 or PreK-12 may take any one of the four tests.
School Counselor - no PLT test required.
School Psychologist - no PLT test required.
School Social Worker - no PLT test required.
