The recognition that the development of future educators is incomplete without the collaboration of multiple alliances, including (but not limited to) P-12 educators, content area experts, professional service agencies, parents, family community organizations, research institutes, educational foundations, and local, state, and federal governments.

The successful beginning teacher:
