Student Retention and Success
Many students find that the ways in which they prepared for class and did homework in high school do not work well in college because being successful in college courses requires much more work than did high school classes. Also, previously enrolled students find challenges along the way.
On this page you will find here links to UTC departments and programs designed to help you develop both academically and socially.
Whether you are a freshman or senior, the key to academic success is getting off to a good start in your courses by attending all classes, being on time, taking good notes, and studying two hours outside of class for every hour in class. Best wishes on your journey and let us help when you need us!
