Professor Stratton received a Doctorate in Science: Medical Anthropology through a compilation degree with University of Connecticut Medical Anthropology Doctor of Philosophy Program, and Charles Sturt University Doctoral in Health Science, Masters in Emergency Management with Anthropology Concentration from Charles Sturt University, Bachelors in Anthropology with Medical Anthroplogy Concentration from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Licensed as Paramedic through State of Tennessee. Research leading to Doctoral degree: Cultural Assessment and Training in Emergency Management - Department of Homeland Security; Research leading to Masters Degree: Eastern Band of the Cherokee Culutral Training Guide for Emergency Workers; Impact of 9/11 on World Wide Emergency Management: NATO, Publication Research: A comparison of US and Mexican Emergency Medicine, Trauma Journal, Mexico. Sexuality for Screenwriters (Emergency Contraception Scripts), for the Media Project (Kaiser Foundation); Socio-Cultural Impact of Rape: The Power to Attain Sex; Outcome Assessment of Healthy Start Programs, Connecticut, and Toddlers in Project Housing, Tennessee. Currently involved in fieldwork for applied projects in media and culture, and cultural diversity training for unlicensed healthcare providers.
