ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography offers a degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a major concentration in Sociology or Anthropology, and a minor in Geography. All three disciplines strive to instruct students about the research methods that are used in the social sciences and expose them to the variation that exists in human societies, cultures, and our physical landscapes. This degree program will provide students with analytical skills and a knowledge base that will facilitate their ability to work in an increasingly global society. It will also prepare students for a variety of professional and/or graduate studies. A number of internship opportunities are available.
