Psychology organizations on the web - A very comprehensive place to look!
National Honor Society, Psi Chi - Undergraduates who are psychology majors (or minors), who have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better (both cumulative and in psychology), and who have completed a minimum of 9 semester hours of psychology are eligible to apply for membership to the National Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi. The Society offers opportunities for early involvement and recognition in psychology through various local chapter and national activities. A small one-time fee covers the cost of lifetime membership.
American Psychological Association (APA) is a professional organization of scientists, teachers, professionals and students. Students who join this and similar organizations benefit by having association with and access to those professionals in the field of psychology. APA offer student membership fees at significant lower rates. Further, APA offers reduced rates for APA books, journals, and convention registration as well as free subscription to the APA Monitor (psychology's newspaper) and American Psychologist (APA journal).
