ABOUT US
The primary mission of the department is to provide UTC undergraduates and graduate students with high quality instruction in the fields of Political Science, Public Administration and Nonprofit Management.
The department offers five main concentrations: American Studies; International and Comparative Studies; Legal Studies; Public Policy and Administration; and Public Administration and Nonprofit Management.
The program is designed to achieve balance between theory and practice. Thus students will hopefully acquire a better understanding of politics, are able to analyze and evaluate policy issues and become familiar with various theoretical approaches in the social sciences. In addition, students will be prepared for careers in government, law, business and education.
