Please keep passing the work to your classmates that we need to hear from everybody! We want to help keep you connected to our great program! As many of you know, we completed the proposal for converting the program to the DPT. Our request made it through the UTC Graduate and Faculty Councils. It is now with UT and we are still hopeful that we will be allowed to convert in the near future! After we are able to establish the entry-level DPT, then we will begin the work on establishing a transitional DPT for existing PTs. We hope you'll want to consider participating!
On a final note, it is very important that you send us great students just like you. In our changing healthcare dynamics, we are finding that fewer people are choosing to pursue careers in PT. It is a great time to apply to our program. Please encourage your volunteers to contact us! Our website is: http://www.utc.edu/~phyt/
We look forward to seeing you in August!
