10-step program for successful registration
- Call the Physical Therapy Department (423-425-4747) for an advisement appointment BEFORE your priority registration time.
- Refer to the "Advisement" section on the physical therapy web page www.utc.edu/physicaltherapy and review "frequently asked questions" and "typical course of study."
- UTC students obtain a Record of Academic Progress (RAP sheet) in ONENET or in the Retention and Advisement Center (University Center 278). Transfer students obtain a student copy of your transcripts.
- Print a student "Prerequisite Worksheet" from the PT Advisement section.
- Consulting your RAP sheet or transcripts, UTC catalog, and our website "typical course of study," use the "Prerequisite Worksheet" to determine what classes you might need to take.
- Consulting the UTC online timetable to see course numbers, class times, and availability, develop your trial schedule.
- Bring your trial schedule, prerequisite worksheet, RAP sheet and/or transcripts to your advisement appointment.
- Obtain an advising code or signature from your advisor.
- Follow directions for online registration or go to the Registration Office (Race 103). Note: Any registration HOLDS (proof of measles immunization, parking tickets, library fines, outstanding balances, etc.) must be resolved before registering. Students taking developmental courses must register in the Registration Office.
- Confirm or pay tuition fees by the date indicated, usually a few weeks before the start of classes (consult the UTC calendar). If you need additional fee payment help, call or go to the Bursar's Office (423-425-4781, Fletcher 215).
