Ten Steps to Successful Registration

  1. Call the Occupational Therapy Department at (423) 425-2357 for an advisement appointment BEFORE your priority registration time.
  2. Refer to the "Advisement" section on the occupational therapy web page and review "frequently asked questions" and "typical course of study."
  3. UTC students should obtain a Record of Academic Progress (RAP sheet) in ONENET or in the Retention and Advisement Center (University Center 278). Transfer students should obtain a student copy of their transcript(s).
  4. Print a student "Prerequisite Worksheet" from the OT advisement section.
  5. Consulting your RAP sheet or transcripts, UTC catalog, and our website "typical course of study," use the "Prerequisite Worksheet" to determine what classes you might need to take.
  6. Consulting the UTC online timetable to see course numbers, class times, and availability, develop your trial schedule.
  7. Bring your trial schedule, prerequisite worksheet, RAP sheet and/or transcripts to your advisement appointment.
  8. Obtain an advising code or signature from your advisor.
  9. Follow directions for online registration http://www.utc.edu/OnlineRegistration/, or go to the Registration office (Race 103). Note: Any registration HOLDS (proof of measles immunization, parking tickets, library fines, outstanding balances, etc.) must be resolved before registering. Students taking developmental courses must register in the Registration office.
  10. Confirm or pay tuition fees by the date indicated, usually a few weeks before the start of classes (consult the UTC calendar). If you need additional fee payment help, call or go to the Bursar's Office (423-425-4781, Fletcher 215).
