Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) prepares the graduate for beginning practice as a registered nurse in a variety of settings. If you are already a Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree in Nursing and would like to pursue your BSN, please see the information page on our RN-BSN program.
With a BSN, you are also prepared for graduate study in nursing. The emphasis of the program is on use of knowledge and skills to plan and implement nursing care. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are emphasized.
There is a separate application process for the School of Nursing. An application to the School of Nursing is available by clicking on the Application Procedures & Requirements link below. You must be admitted to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga by the School of Nursing application deadline.
The application deadline for Nursing is September 1st for the class to be admitted for the spring semester and February 1st to be admitted for the fall semester. Please see links below for additional information on applying, the Pre-admission ATI TEAS exam, and the curriculum.
