Mr. James

Gordon James, Principal Horn of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, has been playing and teaching Horn for 25 years, and presently teaches at UTC, Southern Adventist University, Lee University, and Covenant College.  He also performs with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and the Huntsville Symphony.

Mr. James received a Master of Music in Horn Performance from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. 

In his free time, Gordon enjoys driving and maintaining antique cars, and working with his wife Kathleen on their 1922 bungalow in Rock Spring, Georgia.
