Robert Aaron Taylor, bass-baritone, is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Berry College and his Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University.  An artist of great flexibility, Robert has performed roles in a variety of theatrical productions, including Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, Schicchi in Gianni Schicchi, Dr. Bartolo in The Barber of Seville and Dr. Dulcamara in l’Elisir d’Amore with Rimrock Opera, Count Ceprano in Rigoletto, Mityukha in Boris Godunov and the Sergeant in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with the San Diego Opera, the Boatswain in H.M.S. Pinafore,Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Lord Mountarrarat in Iolanthe and Cascada in The Merry Widow with Lyric Opera San Diego, the Servant in Glass’ Fall of the House of Usher with Lyric Opera Cleveland and Mephistophélès in Faust, Leandro in Love for Three Oranges and Zuniga in Carmen at Indiana University.  Robert has worked with such renowned artists as Edoardo Müller, Lotfi Mansouri, Robert Shaw, Valéry Ryvkin and Raymond Leppard.  Upcoming engagements include Baron Zeta in The Merry Widow with Rimrock Opera.
