from Ganns Middle Valley at the 2011 Choir Sharing Festival
The Choir Sharing Festival is an annual event sponsored by the UTC Music Department in association with the Southeast Chapter of Kodaly Educators. At the festival, choirs perform for each other, observe other choirs and directors, and sing together a mass choir piece with the other participating groups. Two experienced adjudicators will make positive written comments and spend a few minutes working with your choir following your performance.
The noncompetitive event is open to elementary and middle school choirs. Schools without a choir may bring a grade level or select classes. The event will be held on campus at UTC and the typical day begins at 9:00 AM and runs until 1:00 PM.
