Pending funding that has been requested from the National Science Foundation, financial support for participation in the conference will be available for graduate students and recent Ph.D. recipients (having received their Ph.D. in 2000 or after). In awarding support, preference will be given to beginning researchers who will be making a presentation at the conference. Women and minority participants are especially encouraged to apply for support.
Requests for financial support should be sent by e-mail to searcde-04@utc.edu and should enclosed the following:
Processing Applications for support will begin August 1.
Applications received after September 1 will be considered, subject to availability of funds.
If you are approved for support, you must fill out the following form and attach required receipts.
