Nonprofit Certicate and Nonprofit Concentration
Certificate in Nonprofit Management
This program is aimed at providing nonprofit managers and leaders, and those who aspire to such positions, with knowledge regarding the efficient, effective, and ethical management of nonprofit agencies.
The certificate program is offered in cooperation with Tennessee State University and offers courses using a combination of classroom, interactive television, and Internet-based technologies. Classes meet during the evening, Monday through Thursday, with some occasionally scheduled on Saturday. Certificate requirements may be completed in as little as one academic year, although students may take longer to complete the program.
Students may enter the certificate program in either the fall or spring semester.
Please see the Nonprofit Certificate link.
MPA with Nonprofit Concentration
The Master of Public Administration program offers a concentration in nonprofit management. The
concentration is designed to respond to requests by current and past students to provide program content focusing specifically on the management of nonprofit organizations and the role of these agencies in the delivery of public services.
