The 4th Annual River Cities I-O Psychology Conference
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
University Center
Chattanooga, TN
November 7th – 8th 2008
Yes, the increasingly popular RCIO conference is now being hosted and sponsored by the UTC Master's in I-O program and Department of Psychology in Chattanooga, TN. For 2008 our theme is "Applying psychology to everyday life." Come join us in the "scenic city" for a truly memorable two-day event.
Topics of particular interest this year include traditional areas of I-O Psychology such as employee selection, job analysis, training, organizational behavior, compensation, and motivation, as well as areas that have been under-represented in I-O, such as occupational health psychology, translational research, sport psychology, and psychology and the law.

The conference will take place on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th 2008. The submission deadline for this year's conference is September 10, 2008. However, we would appreciate receiving your proposals any time after May 1, 2008 to ease processing and provide you with a greater planning window. Submissions will be reviewed and authors notified of acceptance by September 26, 2008.
Presentations at this year’s RCIO Conference are scheduled to last 50 minutes. Each room in our conference facility will be equipped with a projector, screen, laptop computer, and internet connectivity. If other equipment will be needed, please specify in comments box.
Posters submitted to RCIO may be of two formats: (1) Research Proposals or (2) Completed Research accompanied by a paper. Submissions should be marked as either one or the other.
