Academic Common Market

It is our understanding that UTC's I-O program qualifies for Academic Common Market status for students from the following states:

  • Arkansas
  • Georgia
  • Mississippi

Students who are residents of these states should be able to attend the UTC I-O program while paying in-state tuition (i.e., as if they were residents of Tennessee).

If you are not a resident of one of these states, you may still be eligible for such support by requesting that your state's ACM office add UTC's I-O program to your state's list of eligible programs. In order to obtain the in-state tuition rate, a student must contact the ACM officer from his or her state and obtain the necessary documents and forms from that officer.

The names of ACM officers can be obtained at the following web site: www.sreb.org
